Onanuga reacts to video of Sowore seated in his U.S. residence and advocating protest

Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has reacted after watching a video of Nigerian politician and activist, Omoyele Sowore seated in his U.S. residence and advocating protest.

In the viral video,

 the presenter asked Sowore ;

“Currently you are in New Jersey and you are calling for a protest in Nigeria.

 How do you intend to be part of this?”

Omoyele Sowore asserted that his physical absence from Nigeria does not preclude him from organising a protest, c

iting his extensive experience in over 200 demonstrations.

He emphasized that the digital age has transcended geographical limitations, allowing for remote participation.

Sowore declined to confirm his physical presence at the protests, but vowed to be fully engaged and committed to the cause.

Omoyele Sowore said,

 “That I am not in Nigeria doesn’t mean that I can’t call for a protest. I have participated in over 200 protests.

”The world has gone beyond physical engagements. I’m not here to defend whether I will be there or not. All I can say for now is that I will be fully involved in the protests”.

However,

 Bayo Onanuga  reacting to the statement,  accused Omoyele Sowore of hypocritically inciting protests in Nigeria while comfortably residing in New Jersey, USA, with his family.

He advised Nigerians to be cautious and not fall prey to Sowore’s manipulation.

“Omoyele

 Sowore is mobilizing the gullible for protests in Nigeria as he sits pretty in his home with his family in New Jersey, United State of America. Be wise, the easily excitable Nigerians!, ” Onanuga said.
