PDP slams APC Chairman Ganduje for his comments

The Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has criticized the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, for his assertion that the APC would secure victory in the upcoming governorship election on November 16.

The party described Ganduje’s remarks as adding insult to injury, highlighting his claim that the APC aims to dominate all five southeastern states instead of showing remorse for undermining the people’s will, reports The Nation.

Kennedy Peretei, the spokesman for the Ondo PDP, stated that Ondo State is not a place where citizens can be intimidated or silenced.

He emphasised that the people of Ondo are educated and resilient.

He said results announced at the state collation centre were fabricated, saying figures were different from those uploaded into the INEC Irev portal.

He said: “The people of Edo State could never have elected a man who promised to bring “Insecurity to Edo State”.

“Let Ganduje first give the ‘Edo Treatment’ to his people in Kano State, where he was humiliated by a relatively unknown New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in last year’s gubernatorial election.”
