Yar’adua urges tolerance, patriotism, and selfless leadership on Independence Day anniversary

As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua has called on Nigerians to embrace tolerance, patriotism, and selfless leadership to build a better future for the nation.

Senator Yar’adua, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army and Northern Senators Forum, in a press statement released on Tuesday, urged leaders at all levels to prioritize good governance, accountability, and the welfare of citizens.

Hi words: “We must continue to work together to build a better future, one that is founded on the principles of tolerance, patriotism, and selfless leadership”.

 “Our founding fathers fought tirelessly for our freedom and independence, and their legacy inspires us to strive for a united, prosperous, and harmonious Nigeria”, stated.

Yar’adua acknowledged further: “We’ve made significant strides, but we must recognize the challenges that still lie ahead. Let us draw strength from our shared values and collective aspirations.”

The senator’s message comes as Nigeria marks 64 years of independence from British colonial rule. Yar’adua’s call to action resonates with Nigerians seeking a more united and prosperous nation.
