APC’s Ganduje receives decampees from PDP, NNPP, PRP, others in Katsina

Supporters from major opposition parties in Katsina State, on Sunday officially decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The decampees were mostly drawn from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP); the Accord Party, and the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) among others.

One of the decampees is the PDP deputy governorship candidate in Katsina for the 2015 election Rabiu Bakori.

The APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje alongside the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) received the decampees during the official flag-off of the APC’s Local Government Elections Campaign held at Ingawa Local Government Area of the state.

Ganduje, while describing the moment as a great and historic day in the history of Katsina State, assured decampees of equal treatment.

He said APC remains the only party worthy to join that does the right thing by delivering the true dividends of democracy to citizens.

“Those we are receiving were from the PDP, NNPP, Accord Party, APP, and PRP. Katsina people are known to be dedicated, hardworking, united, hospitable, and religious,” the APC chieftain added.

In his remarks, Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda assured of his administration’s readiness to continue delivering the good work it started under the APC. He expressed confidence that the APC will win the forthcoming LGA election scheduled for February 15th, 2025.

“We are today receiving over a hundred thousand decampees from the PDP, NNPP, PRP, and Accord Party among others who have appreciated the efforts we are doing.

“And to our teeming supporters, don’t fear anyone, come out en masse and vote for the APC. I want to assure you that, we will continue to deliver the good work we started under the APC. All our former governors, senators, and House of Representative members are united,” he stated.
