NNU 2025: Imegwu meets with Ndokwa clan PG’s, solicits for their supports, votes 

The former speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Olisa Enebeli Imegwu, has met with Presidents General of Ndokwa clans, on his ambition to become the President General of the ethnic nationality’s apex body, Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU, whose elections are billed for February 8, 2025.

Rt. Hon. Imegwu, in a statement made available to the media, urged the group, under the auspices of ANi Ndokwa Clans Association, ANCA, to join him in changing the worrisome narratives affecting the oil-rich ethnic nationality, by supporting his candidacy, promising that they will not regret their votes on his candidacy. ,

During the brief meeting, in Kwale, Ndokwa West local government of Delta State, Imegwu who was accompanied by his team, told the PGs comprising of the 37 clans in in the three local government areas that he is in the race to continue speaking for Ndokwa people, and not for political parties.

According to the lawmaker, “At the meeting, I express my readiness to bring back peace, unity progress and developments in Ndokwa Nation without fear or favour. And I promised not to disappoint Ndokwa Nation when voted for..

The former member of the House of Representatives’ said, the PGs after carefully listening to his presentation, affirmed that he is indeed a voice that Ndokwa needs to move the Ndokwa/Ukwuani federal constituency forward.

He further states that the group, through their President General, Prince Nzekwe said, Imegwu is part of them who remains a voice in Ndokwa Nation, as he remains a man who will speak for the people of Ndokwa when called upon.

They, however, promised to ensure a level playing ground for all contestants and pray that the best emerges on February 8, 2025 to lead Ndokwa on the right path of socio-economic recovery and growth.

He further said that at the end of the brief meeting, he was further encouraged that he remains the best man for the job that will put an end to Ndokwa ethnic nationality playing second fiddle among the committee of ethnic nationalities in the Delta State
