NNU Elections: Ndokwa Elders’Forum meets at Amai today

As the February 8, 2025 elections date of the Ndokwa apex body, Ndokwa Neku Union, NNU, draws near, elders and other stakeholder of the Delta ethnic nationality are meeting at different for a to ensure they got it right this time.

To ensure a free and fair elections are bestowed on the people, a group, Ndokwa Elder’s Forum, NEF, has scheduled a meeting for Amai in Ukwuani local government area of Delta State today, with leadership of some leading associations in the sub nation, invited for a robust discussion on an acceptable credible poll.

The meeting, which is contained in a statement by one of its founding fathers, and a concerned Ndokwa son, Chief Ossai Udom, also double as end of year get together.

Chief Udom in his invitation letter wrote, “Brethren, this is an information notification of your invitation to the End of Year get together of our Ndokwa Elders Forum.  Please take this as a formal invitation”, he added.

He further stated: “The very short notice notwithstanding, your attendance is not only important but crucial, given the happening around our forthcoming NNU exco elections.  Some uncomfortable events is already being planned by you know those!!!!

“The PGs of Clans will be invited to attend through their Chairman, Prince Nzekwe and the Secretary, Dr. Timothy Umukoro.

“Association attendees, like UFU, NDU and NC4GD, will be, the President or Chairman, Secretary and any other one person, possibly a female of your EXCO. Again, be reminded that attendance is crucial”, he stated.
