The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has started disbursing April 2025 upkeep payments to eligible student beneficiaries across the country.
According to Mrs. Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, Director of Strategic Communications at NELFUND, most payments have been successfully processed.
” Most payments have been processed, but a small number of beneficiaries may experience a delay due to a recent system upgrade.”
”The upgrade is aimed at enhancing security and support timely disbursement of upkeep allowances in subsequent payment cycles.
“We remain committed to transparency, operational excellence, and the timely delivery of student support in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Oluwatuyi said.
She added that NELFUND was working closely with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and ensure all eligible students receive their entitlements without further delay.
The organisation is dedicated to providing timely support to Nigerian students.
“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of all stakeholders as we continue to improve service delivery for the benefit of Nigerian students,” Oluwatuyi said.
