NTA, Anthill studios launch musical drama for kids

The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has partnered with Anthill Studios to launch a musical drama for children, titled “Temi & The Labalaba Band”.
The show is set in a local buka, Mama B’s, which is threatened with eviction by the landlord.
The story followed Temi, Mama B’s daughter, and her friends as they try to save the buka from eviction.
The band helped to bolster the restaurant with music and dance, showcasing Nigerian culture and traditions.
According to Niyi Akinmolayan, Founder and CEO of Anthill Studios, the show will air every Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on NTA’s Network Service.
The show has garnered endorsements from stakeholders in Nigeria’s creative industry, including Nollywood stars and regulators.
Akinmolayan noted that the show was already amassing a dedicated following on YouTube and would be available on multiple platforms.
The partnership between NTA and Anthill Studios is aimed at promoting Nigerian culture and entertainment for children.
