Forum of PGs passes vote of confidence in Gov Oborevwwori

Delta State Forum of Presidents General has passed a vote of confidence on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his achievements in his human capital development and infrastructural transformation.
This was part of decisions reached by the forum at a meeting with the Special Adviser to the governor on Community Development, Dr Toyin Agbolayah in Asaba.
The decision of the form followed a motion for the vote of confidence moved by the President General of Illah, Chief Tony Nwegbu,.
The motion which was unanimously adopted by the forum when put to a voice vote, the Special Adviser to the governor on Community Development, and was seconded by the Chairman, Isoko Ethnic Presidents-General, Chief Adonis Iluwere.
The forum thanked Oborevwori for appointing seven of its members as Senior Special Assistants on Community development and pledged to support him beyond 2027.
The Chairman, Delta Forum of Presidents-General, Prince Igwe Nzekwe said their core mandate was to champion peace in their communities, synergise with the governor and other stakeholders in attracting development to their areas.
He called on government at all levels to brainstorm with communities before embarking on projects.
Nzekwe also said the forum would adopt proactive strategies to address specific community concerns and conflicts, affirming that no effort would be spared in the peace and security of the state.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser on Community Development, D r. Agbolayah, noted that the Governor Oborevwori had the interest of the people at heart.
He charged them not to relent in supporting and promoting the giant strides of the present administration.
He reminded them of the need to partner their communities in taking ownership of government projects in their areas.
Agbolayah congratulated the governor for eventful two years in office and assured him of the support of people of the State in driving his development agenda to greater height.
The community leaders, also promised to go to their communities and enlighten the people on the need to remain supportive to the Oborevwori’s–led for the betterment of the state.
