Former leaders call out Tinubu’s govt over poverty

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai, and former Transportation Minister Rotimi Amaechi have criticised the administration of President Bola Tinubu for “weaponising poverty”.
They spoke at a public lecture held in honour of Amaechi’s 60th birthday on Saturday n Abuja.
The three prominent figures expressed their concerns about the current state of the nation, with Atiku, El-Rufai, and Amaechi all agreeing that the Tinubu administration’s policies have had a negative impact on the country.
The public lecture provided a platform for the former leaders to share their thoughts on the current state of the nation.
Atiku, El-Rufai, and Amaechi’s criticism of the Tinubu administration’s handling of poverty and economic issues was scathing.
