Tinubu to inaugurate 10 FCT projects on 2nd anniversary

President Bola Tinubu will personally inaugurate 10 out of 17 projects in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to mark his second anniversary in office.
Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, made the announcement after inspecting some of the projects on Wednesday in Abuja.
”The inauguration of the projects will begin on June 10 with the rehabilitated Abuja International Conference Centre of (AICC) and will last until the end of the month.
”Vice President Kashim Shettima will commission three projects, Senate President Godswill Akpabio will commission two projects, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives will also commission two projects, ” he said.
Some of the projects to be inaugurated are located in satellite towns, which will be visited by Tinubu, Shettima, Akpabio, and the Speaker.
Wike, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for the opportunity to contribute to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He noted that the projects reflect the administration’s commitment to delivering results and improving the lives of residents.
Wike announced that the AICC would be handed over to Julius Berger for maintenance, under his direct supervision.
This move aimed to ensure the proper upkeep of the facility and prevent mismanagement.
