From pain to purpose – Ini Edo

I got married. Then I got divorced. Some people whispered behind my back. They judged me. But I kept quiet. I didn’t need to explain my pain to anyone.
It was hard. But I held myself together, even when I felt like I was falling apart inside. I didn’t owe anyone a story or an explanation. I just wanted peace.
Years later, I made a choice. I chose to become a mother—on my own terms. Some people didn’t understand. Some did. But I knew what I wanted. I followed my heart and embraced my own path.
Now, I live for my peace, for my daughter, and for my purpose. That’s what matters to me. I’m done trying to prove anything. I’m not chasing validation.
I’ve come a long way—from a small village girl with big dreams to a woman who finally knows her worth.
