A malicious website, lankantamil dot com, has been discovered impersonating Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Honourable Minister of State for Finance

According to the statement,the website falsely used the minister’s name, image, and identity to deceive the public.
The ministry has categorically denied any affiliation with the website, stating that Dr.
Uzoka-Anite has no connection to the website or its content.
”The materials on the website are unauthorised, deceptive, and intended to misinform the public.
”The matter has been reported to law enforcement and cybersecurity authorities for investigation and takedown action.
”The public is advised to disregard any information, videos, or links associated with the website, ” the statement said.
It also said that Uzoka-Anite remained committed to transparent public service and official communication through verifiable and authorised channels only.
”The public is assured that any official information or updates from the minister would be disseminated through legitimate channels.
”The ministry urged the public to be vigilant and cautious when interacting with online content, especially those claiming to be from government officials or agencies.
”If you encounter any suspicious activity or content, please report it to the relevant authorities, ” the statement added.
