Amakiri wins Nigeria’s first Christian reality TV show

David Amakiri, an 18-year-old 200-level student of Biomedical Technology at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), has emerged as the winner of Nigeria’s first Christian reality television show.
Amakiri triumphed over eight other contestants, securing the grand prize of N1 million.
Amakiri scored the highest in various assessments, including essay writing and general knowledge questions covering politics, current affairs, medical sciences, and Christian religious knowledge.
Amakiri attributed his success to thorough preparation, expressing gratitude to the judges and organizers for their efforts.
The show, sponsored by Psalmist Missionary Global, aimed to promote Godliness, good morals, and cultural integrity, offering a meaningful alternative to other reality TV shows.
The initiative seeks to empower undergraduates and graduates grappling with unemployment, with the winner receiving a N1 million cash prize.
The President and Founder of the Xtreme Search Reality Television Show, Mr Abuoma Chuka, expressed his ambition to expand the competition and increase the prize fund to reach more unemployed graduates and undergraduates.
Chuka appealed to well-meaning individuals, corporate organisations, and government bodies to partner with the show in support of its humanitarian objectives.
