Chelsea Football Club has confirmed the signing of 19-year-old defender Mamadou Sarr from RC Strasbourg.
Sarr has signed a contract with Chelsea until 2033.
Sarr made 28 appearances for Strasbourg in the 2024/25 campaign, helping the team secure a place in next season’s UEFA Conference League play-off.
The young defender made 27 starts in Ligue 1, contributing to Strasbourg’s seventh-place finish.
Sarr is a France Under-20 international and joined Strasbourg last August, quickly establishing himself as a regular starter in defense
