FG partners Investonaire Academy to train 100,000 youths in forex trading

The Federal Government has partnered with Investonaire Academy to train 100,000 young Nigerians annually in Forex trading, aiming to tackle youth unemployment and promote financial inclusion.
The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Tuesday in Abuja
The Minister of Youth Development, Mr Ayodele Olawande said this during the ceremony on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said that the partnership was a bold initiative aimed at tackling youth unemployment and promoting financial inclusion.
”This partnership reflects our strategic vision for sustainable youth development. We will ensure transparent, measurable outcomes that genuinely impact the lives of young Nigerians, ” he said.
The minister said that the programme sought to equip young Nigerians with practical skills in Forex trading, risk management, and financial planning.
He also said that the programme would help to provide a credible path to financial independence and entrepreneurial resilience as well as foster capacity development, innovation, and access to transformative opportunities for the youths.
Olawande reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to rolling out the initiative with transparency, excellence and tangible results, positioning Nigerian youth as active players in the global economy.
Dr Enefola Odiba, International Programme Director, Investonaire Academy, expressed optimism about the collaboration.
He highlighted the socio-economic challenges facing many young Nigerians and noted that empowering them with financial literacy and digital skills was a strategic solution.
“Youth are the backbone of any nation. When empowered, they become catalysts for innovation and growth.
“This initiative is designed to bridge the gap and unlock the immense potential of our young people,” Odiba said.
He reiterated that the training programme supported the federal government’s broader agenda of digital inclusion, economic diversification, and innovative skills acquisition.
