Group affirms commitment to Ndokwa welfare, denies apology ultimatum to deputy governor

The United Ndokwa for Growth and Development Association (UNFGADA) has issued an official statement denying authorisation of a publication that urged Delta State Deputy Governor Monday Onyeme to apologise to the Ndokwa people over his comments on Arise TV.
The this is contained in statement signed by its Chairman Mr Kunili Friday Shola, affirming the association’s position.
.
The statement noted that the association clarified that the statement circulating, signed by Emeagi Emeka Williams, was issued without their approval and doesn’t reflect their official stance.
”We, the United Ndokwa for Growth and Development Association (UNFGADA), wish to make it clear that we did not authorise the recent publication urging the Delta State Deputy Governor, His Excellency Monday Onyeme, to apologise to the Ndokwa people in connection with his comments on Arise TV.
”The statement that has been circulating, which was signed by Emeagi Emeka Williams, claiming to represent our association, was issued without our approval and does not reflect the official stance of UNFGADA.
”We deeply regret any confusion this may have caused, and we want to assure the public that the content of the publication was sponsored by an individual or group without the endorsement or consent of the association, ” the statement said.
Recall that that a group had earlier called on on the Deputy Governor, Monday Onyemah, to issue an immediate and unconditional apology for his alleged unsupportive stance and allegations against their people.
The call was contained in a letter by
Comrade Frank West I.N
(Rural community development Activist).
The demand followed comments made by Onyemah in an Arise TV interview that the community found objectionable.
He said, ”We, the people of Ndokwa Nation, demand an immediate and unconditional apology over your unsupportive stance and allegations on Arise Tv interview against our people.
”Failure to apologize,
We will mobilize our people to reject any ticket that features you as a candidate in 2027 gubernatorial election.”.
However, UNFGADA assured of its commitment to promoting the welfare, growth, and development of Ndokwa communities, fostering unity and collaboration.
”We remain committed to our primary goals of promoting the welfare, growth, and development of Ndokwa communities in a manner that fosters unity and collaboration, ” the statement added.
