The Senator representing Bayelsa West at the National Assembly Seriake Dickson paid a courtesy visit to elder statesman Dr Sule Lamido, former Governor of Jigawa State.
The visit, documented on Senator Dickson’s official Facebook page, saw him presented with an autographed copy of Dr. Lamido’s recently launched biography..
Former Bayelsa Governor pledged to buy 10 copies of the biography on behalf of the Henry Seriake Dickson Foundation for N2,000,000.
He stated, “Yesterday was an opportunity to be represented with the formal copy, and I pledged 10 copies on behalf of the Henry Seriake Dickson Foundation for N2,000,000.”

During the visit, Dickson met Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State, and Alhaji Lawan Batagarawa at Lamido’s residence.

The meeting has sparked interest in potential future collaborations between these leaders, raising questions about possible political alliances and strategies.
According to Dickson’s statement, the meeting was unplanned. He also noted the presence of Alhaji Lawan Batagarawa, who was also visiting Dr. Lamido.
“At the visit it was a pleasure to have also met my brother, His Excellency Peter Obi CON, a former governor and Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, who was also visiting Dr Lamido.
”I also met Alhaji Lawan Batagarawa who also came in to see Lamido,” Dickson wrote.
