New sector commander takes helm at FRSC Cross River command

The Cross River Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has gotten a new Sector Commander.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Samuel Otih, the Sector Public Education Officer, Cross River Sector Command in Calabar on Saturday.
According to Otih, the coming of the new Sector Commander follows the promotion of the former Corps Commander, Joseph Toby to the rank of Assistant Corps Marshal (ACM) and subsequent redeployment to the FRSC headquarters in Abuja.
“The new Corps Commander, Innocent Etuk, until his appointment as the 24th Sector Commander of Cross River Sector Command, was the Registrar at the FRSC Command and Staff College, Udi, Enugu State.
“The process of handing over and taking over has already commenced and will climax with the arrival of the new Sector Commander and the vesting parade.
“Etuk is set to consolidate on the gains made by the outgoing Sector Commander while leveraging on his wealth of experience and synergy with relevant stakeholders to improve the operations of the Corps in Cross River,” he said.
He added that the Cross River Sector Command of the FRSC remained resolute in its resolve at ensuring that the roads in the state remain safe for all road users at all times.
The outgoing Sector Commander was deployed to Cross River in July 2024 and was redeployed in June 2025.
