Ex-SSA Audu reveals reason for resignation from Tinubu’s govt

Former Senior Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Public Affairs, Aliyu Audu has revealed that he resigned from the President’s government to work against his re-election in 2027.
Audu made this revelation on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily programme on Monday, sparking interest and speculation about his future plans and potential political ambitions.
Audu stated that he resigned to actively work against President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Audu noted that the 2027 election would no longer be an “Emi lo kan” (my turn) affair but a “Gbogbo wa lo kan” (our turn) affair, implying a shift in power dynamics and a new era of competition.
This development has significant implications for Nigerian politics, given Audu’s previous role in Tinubu’s government and his apparent determination to challenge the President’s re-election bid.
