Pope Leo XIV preaches peace amid rising tensions in Middle East

Pope Leo XIV has called for peace and dialogue in the face of growing tensions, particularly in Iran, Israel, and Palestine.
 Speaking at his last general audience before the summer break, the Pope urged people to reject arrogance and revenge, opting instead for diplomacy and peaceful resolution.
 *”Let us reject arrogance and revenge, and instead resolutely choose the path of dialogue, diplomacy, and peace, ” he said.
The Pope will reside at the papal summer residence in Castel Gandolfo from July 6 to 20.
He will recite the traditional Angelus prayer on three Sundays, attracting tens of thousands of people.
No private or general audiences are scheduled for July, according to the Vatican’s schedule..
