Tosin Adarabioyo eyes Super Eagles debut

Chelsea Football Club defender Tosin Adarabioyo has revealed that he is considering representing the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the future.
Adarabioyo made this known during a post-match news conference in Philadelphia, United States, after Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Esperance de Tunisie in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The defender, who scored Chelsea’s first goal in the match with a powerful header, stated that the possibility of playing for Nigeria is a conversation he wanted to have.
“It is something that we are looking into in the future. It is a conversation I want to have; we will see how that goes,” Adarabioyo said.
However, Adarabioyo emphasised that his current focus is on Chelsea’s upcoming match against Benfica in the knockout stage of the competition.
The defender’s potential switch to the Super Eagles has generated interest, given his impressive performance for Chelsea in the tournament.
