Media must reflect full picture of Nigeria – John Momoh

Renowned broadcast journalist and Mediapreneur Dr John Momoh has emphasised the importance of pursuing truth over clicks in the media.
Speaking at the 2025 Nigerian Guild of Editors National Biennial Convention on Thursday in Enugu, Momoh stressed that media professionals must play a crucial role in nation-building, inclusion, and healing.
Momoh emphasised that nation-building was not just about unity but also about empathy and healing, which begins with being heard.
He charged media professionals to raise the standard of their work, be fearless but fair, and pursue truth, not clicks.

Momoh stressed the importance of inclusion, stating that too many people still feel invisible and deserve a seat at the table.
He emphasised the need for real conversations across divides, between the young and old, communities, and government and the governed.
