I never met Tinubu once as SSA – Aliyu Audu

Former Senior Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Public Affairs, Aliyu Audu, has come out strongly against the president’s re-election bid in 2027.
Audu, who recently resigned from his position, cited Tinubu’s inaccessibility to his aides as a major concern.
He spoke on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief breakfast show on Monday.
In a shocking revelation, Audu said that he never had a single meeting with Tinubu during his tenure as one of his assistants.
Audu emphasised that Tinubu’s lack of accessibility to his aides was a significant issue that affects the quality of governance.
He is of the opinion that Nigerians needed a leader who is approachable and willing to listen to the people, not just a select few.
Audu has declared his intention to work against Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, citing the president’s leadership style as a major concern.
Audu’s comments reflected a growing dissatisfaction with Tinubu’s leadership among some Nigerians, which could potentially impact his re-election bid.
