3-storey building collapses on Lagos Island, 4 injured

A three-storey building on Asesi Lane, Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island, collapsed on Thursday, injuring some occupants.
The rescued individuals have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Lagos State Information Commissioner Gbenga Omotoso said in a Facebook post,
“Four persons have been rescued from the rubble. They have been taken to hospital,”
Emergency responders from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), among others, have since gotten to the incident scene.
Also, men of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) joined the response team.
“The emergency responders are still in action at the unfortunate incident scene along Adeniji Adele road, at Sasi lane, Isale Eko.
“Our officials have diverted traffic from Zenith back through OBA’s place to make use of Enu owa to their various destinations.
“Victims rescued from the building have been taken to the hospital for treatment,” LASTMA wrote on social media.
