A political strategist and the founding Director-General of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Chief Earl Onaiwu, has lauded the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, for his outstanding performances in office.
Chief Onaiwu praised the Governor for his bold reforms and the steady progress being made across critical sectors of the state from roads and schools to healthcare and job creation.
Among recent milestones that caught national attention is the unveiling of Enugu State’s newly acquired airline (Enugu Air), a move Onaiwu described as “forward-thinking,” aimed at boosting economic activity, enhancing state logistics, and reinforcing investor confidence in the region.
In a statement on Thursday, and made available to HensardTimes, the former governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Edo, said, “I truly commend the Governor of Enugu for his transformative leadership,.
“You can see the impact of his work in the lives of ordinary people. He’s not just managing a state he’s building a future, ” he added.
According to Onaiwu, “The Governor’s leadership reflects the very best of the PDP’s values: vision, compassion, and a deep commitment to service.
“Under the current administration, Enugu has become a shining example of what’s possible when a leader puts the people first”, he said.
Onaiwu, who has long been a voice for good governance and strategic development, urged other leaders across Nigeria to take note of Enugu’s progress and follow suit.
“What we’re seeing in Enugu isn’t just politics, it’s progress. It’s what leadership should look like in every part of this country,” he further said.
The statement comes at a time when the PDP continues to reposition itself around strong leadership and grassroots impact.
