Infrastructure Devt: Delta Govt conducts inspection visit to Iselegu, Onuaboh ferry

The Delta State Ministry of Works has conducted an inspection visit to Iselegu and Onuaboh communities led by Vincent Osilonya, Executive Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Council.
The State government delegation, represented by Augustine Chukwurah, Director of Riverine and Community Projects, assessed the condition of dilapidated pontoons and roads in the area.
The delegation were also joined by the Obala-Utchi Development Association, Asaba, led by its President General, Chief Prince Nzekwe
The pontoons serving Onuaboh and Inyi communities were found to be in a deplorable state, hindering access between the two areas.
The Inyi Onuaboh road was also found to be in a bad state, affecting movement and development in the area.
The council chairman assured the communities that a new pontoon would be provided to restore access between Onuaboh and Inyi community.
He also assured that the State government was making plans to construct a permanent bridge to enhance movement and development in the area.
The inspection team included

Elvis Isicheli, Comrade Ozor Uzoka, Comrade Ifeanyi Onyia, Mr Chucks Onyia, Mr Alex Nwanozie, Chief C. C. Chukwuji, Mr Abuanekwu, Desmond Analuwe, Councillor representing Onuaboh and Inyi Ward and others.
