Motherhood and Movies: Uche Jombo’s journey to balancing passion and purpose

Onenof Nigeria’s top flight actors, Uche Jomb has taken a closer look at motherhood and movie roles, saying choosing both is a wise decision that she took.
She said, “I once shot a whole movie with my baby in the next room. I would act a heavy emótional scene, rush off to breastfeed, clean up, and run back to continue filming.”
“People told me to choose: be a mother or be an actress. But I chose both.
“It wasn’t easy—jûggling diapers and dialogue, staying up at night and waking up early for shoots. But my passion never slept, and neither did my purpose”, she intoned.
She also said, “Some days I crîed from exháustion. Other days, I smiled through the chaos. But every single day, I showed up.
“Women are strong. We don’t have to pick one dream—we can carry them all, even with a baby on our back,” she added.
