Ekiti Gov hails Tinubu’s support for state’s development progress

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti has expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his unwavering support, saying that the state’s progress was a direct reflection of the president’s bold reforms and leadership.
Governor Oyebanji made this remark on Monday during an event organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to endorse both him and President Tinubu.
According to him, “Everything we have achieved as a government in Ekiti State is because of the support of the President.
”If the President has not supported us, if the President has not embarked on very bold and audacious reforms, we would not be able to do those things, ” he said.
Oyebanji emphasised that the support from President Tinubu has been instrumental in the state’s development, enabling him to deliver on his promises.
He cited the president’s bold reforms and leadership as key factors in the state’s progress.
Highlighting the achievements of his administration, the governor said, ”22 road projects are currently underway in Ekiti State, including the Okeyinmi flyover bridge, Ado-Ekiti Ring Road, and Ikere-Igbara-Odo Road.
”Twelve general hospitals are being renovated and equipped, while 177 primary health care centers are undergoing renovation.
”Five thousand youths have been brought back to agriculture in Ekiti State.”
Oyebanji also emphasised that the State stood firmly in support of President Tinubu.
“This is in addition to all the interventions of President Bola Tinubu in Ekiti State.
”You have endorsed us, myself and the deputy governor, because as far as you are concerned, we have delivered on the promises we made to you, ” he added.
Oyebanji assured Ekiti residents of more transformative programs and projects in the future.
The APC event culminated in the endorsement of both President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji for re-election.
The endorsement was also supported by former governors, national and state assembly members, and other stakeholders.
President Tinubu, represented by Senate Leader Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, expressed his satisfaction with Oyebanji’s governance and pledged to continue supporting the state.
