Burna Boy lights up Buckingham Palace with surprise performance 

Burna Boy made a surprise appearance at Buckingham Palace, London, where England’s Lionesses celebrated their triumph at the 2025 Women’s Euros.
The Afrobeat star performed his 2022 song “For Your Hand” alongside England’s Dutch head coach, Sarina Wiegman, who is a huge fan of the artist.
Burna Boy’s performance was a surprise to Wiegman, who screamed “Oh, no way” when she saw the Grammy-award winning star.
The coach couldn’t hide her excitement as she danced with Burna Boy, delighting the players and hundreds of supporters who sang along.
Wiegman has been open about her admiration for Burna Boy’s music.
In 2023, she mentioned that the Nigerian artist is top of her playlist and that she has played his song “For My Hand” (feat. Ed Sheeran) extensively.
The Lionesses’ victory celebration is part of their homecoming tour after winning the 2025 Women’s Euros.
The team defeated Spain 3-1 on penalties in the final, after normal and extra time ended 1-1.
The victory marked a significant milestone for the team, and Burna Boy’s performance added to the celebratory atmosphere.
Under Wiegman’s leadership, England has achieved significant success, including defending their WEURO title in Switzerland.
The coach has been in charge of the team since 2021 and has led them to several victories, including the 2022 Euros.
