WAEC Releases 2025 WASSCE Results: How to check online

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
The announcement was made on Monday, August 4, 2025, via the council’s verified X (formerly Twitter) handle.
In the post, WAEC said, “The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat for WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the results have officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025.”
Candidates who participated in the 2025 examination were advised to check their results online via the council’s official portal at http://waecdirect.org.
To access their results, candidates will need to follow a simple step-by-step process:
Candidates will need to enter their 10-digit WAEC Examination Number, which consists of a 7-digit centre number followed by a 3-digit candidate number (e.g., 4123456789).
For examination years before 1999, candidates will need to enter their 8-digit WAEC Examination Number (e.g., 19865001).
Candidates will need to select the type of examination they took.
Candidates will need to enter their e-PIN voucher number and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Once candidates have entered their details correctly, they can submit and view their results.
The release of the 2025 WASSCE results marked an important milestone for students who have worked hard to prepare for the examination.
It is a moment of great anticipation and excitement for candidates, who are eager to know how they performed.
WAEC’s decision to release results online provides candidates with easy and convenient access to their results, eliminating the need to visit physical locations.
This development is a testament to the council’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve the examination process and make it more efficient for candidates.
Candidates are advised to check their results carefully and ensure that all details were correct.
If there are any discrepancies or issues, candidates should contact WAEC immediately to resolve the matter.
