TVC host Morayo Afolabi-Brown quits after 12 years, explains why

Morayo Afolabi-Brown, the host of the popular breakfast show, ‘Your View,’ and Managing Director of TVC Entertainment, has explained why she left the media organisation after 12 years.
In a video posted on her Instagram account on Friday, Afolabi-Brown revealed that her final appearance on the popular show would be on August 29, adding that her departure was not triggered by any conflict.
“Nothing happened. I have put in my resignation as host of Your View on TVC, a role I’ve held for the past 12 years. I’ve also resigned as MD of TVC Entertainment,” she said.
Afolabi-Brown added that she would be “drawing the curtains permanently” on her time with the show, handing over to “the amazing ladies of Your View, who have been doing phenomenal work keeping the programme strong.”
She expressed her desire to see the programme grow even bigger after her exit and thanked TVC management for giving her the platform to “build my brand, build who I am.”
Describing the move as “scary but exciting,” she also appreciated her fans, praying they continue to support the show.
“Please sustain the growth of the show so that when we are all old, we will be grateful for the opportunity you gave to us,” Afolabi- Brown added.
