Eid-el-Maulud: APC urges Nigerians to pray for peace, unity

The All Progressives Congress has called on Nigerians to continue praying for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the country.
In a statement released on Friday, APC National Publicity Secretary Chief Felix Morka congratulated the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
Chief Morka also highlighted the enduring guidance and timeless lessons from the Prophet’s life and teachings, emphasising peace, unity, justice, compassion, tolerance, and moral leadership.
He further noted that the Prophet’s message of reconciliation, fairness, and compassion for the poor and vulnerable urged Nigerians to work together for unity and promote accountability, kindness, and peaceful coexistence.
The APC spokesman emphasised that these noble values aligned with the core vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.
He assured Nigerians that the Tinubu administration remained committed to rebuilding public trust, strengthening democratic institutions, expanding economic opportunities, and improving living conditions.
Morka called on them to rededicate themselves to the virtues of peace, unity, and compassion, and to pray for lasting peace in the country.
He wished the Muslim Ummah a blessed and fulfilling Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
