Eid-El-Maulud: Oluremi Tinubu greets Muslims, calls for unity

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across the nation on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, urging them to reflect on the values of humility, compassion, forgiveness, and devotion to Allah.
In her message on Friday, Senator Tinubu described the celebration as a reminder of the noble qualities of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The First Lady emphasised the importance of embodying the Prophet’s values in daily life, promoting love, kindness, and unity among Nigerians.
According to her, “This celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is a time to reflect on his exemplary life of humility, compassion, forgiveness, and devotion to Allah.
”It is also a reminder for us to embody these values in our daily lives, showing love, kindness, and unity to one another,” she added.
Senator Tinubu also called on Nigerians to pray for the nation’s continued stability and development, seeking peace, prosperity, and progress.
“As we mark this blessed day, let us continue to pray for our nation, for peace, prosperity, and progress,” she added.
She wished the Muslim community a joyous celebration, saying “Eid-El-Maulud Mubarak!” .
She reassured Nigerians of her continued support through programmes and initiatives that promote social welfare, women’s empowerment, and youth development.
