2027: ADC intensifies grassroots engagement in Lagos

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Lagos State, led by George Ashiru, State Chairman and his team, is dedicated to mass mobilisation and grassroots engagement to establish a stronger presence in Lagos ahead of the 2027 general elections.
ADC Lagos Director of Communications, Mabel Oboh, who stated this in a statement, made available to HensardTimes, said Lagos State Chapter of the ADC is actively connecting with local communities, listening to their concerns, and promoting inclusive policies.
According to her, “Our aim is to build a robust support base, and we are achieving great success in this endeavour.
“Through town hall meetings, outreach programmes, and social media campaigns, ADC seeks to engage with the people of Lagos, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions”, he added.
He further said, “This approach is helping us build trust, foster a sense of ownership among citizens, and ultimately strengthen the party’s position in the State.
“By prioritising grassroots engagement, ADC Lagos demonstrates its commitment to representing the voices and interests of ordinary citizens, rather than just a select few.
“This people-centric approach is expected to drive meaningful change and create a more inclusive, responsive, and effective political system.
“The party’s efforts to mobilise and engage with the masses are anticipated to yield significant benefits, including increased awareness of ADC’s vision, policies, and values”, he further said.
