31st Nigerian Economic Summit: Shettima, Edun, others discuss economic reforms

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Monday attended the 31st Nigerian Economic Summit held in Abuja.

The summit brought together top government officials, industry leaders, and stakeholders to discuss the nation’s economic future.

Themed “The Reform Imperative: Building a Prosperous and Inclusive Nigeria by 2030,” the summit aimed to forge a consensus for the nation’s reform agenda, targeting stability and inclusive growth.

It also provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue and collaboration to accelerate Nigeria’s transformation and secure a prosperous future for all.

The Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, and his counterpart in the Ministry of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu, were also in attendance.

Other notable attendees included captains of industries, members of the National Assembly, and the Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido.

The summit comes at a critical juncture in Nigeria’s development journey, with bold reforms already shaping the nation’s trajectory.
