The Ondo State Government has constituted a staff audit and verification team for the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko (AAUA).
This is contained in a circular issued by the AAUA’s Registrar, Mr. Olugbenga Arajulu.
The circular said that the verification of workers of the institution would hold from Monday, October 20 to Thursday, October 23.
According to it, the staff in the Faculties of Administration and Management, Sciences, Agriculture, Allied and Health Sciences, Arts, Education, Environmental Design and Management, Computing and Law would be verified on Monday.
The circular added that the staff in the University Library, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, VC’s Office, Academic Planning, University Advancement Office, AAU Business School would have their verification on Tuesday.
“The staff in the Registry, Bursary, Works and Services, Physical Planning and Development, Student Affairs, IOE, IPTP, GST, ICTAC, Gender Studies and Development Centre, Distance Learning Centre, Central Research Laboratory, Quality Assurance will be verified on Wednesday.
“Similarly, on Thursday, the staff in these offices will be verified: Sports Centre, Centre for Entrepreneurship, Centre for Drug Development and Administration, Centre for Space Energy and Environmental Research, Centre for Pre-Degree, Security Unit.
“The offices include: Internal Audit, Health Center, PGS, Centre for Research and Development, Fire Service, Centre for Linkages and International Programmes Office,Teaching and Leadership Centre, University Staff School, SIWES,” the circular read.
It listed the requirements for the verification and biometric exercise as letter of appointment, letter of confirmation of appointment, promotion letters, advancement/conversion letter.
Others are; educational certificates from ordinary level to the highest qualifications, approval for change of name, BVN printout, NIN printout, primary six leaving certificate, birth certificate and other relevant certificates.
The circular advised all members of staff to adhere strictly to the timetable.
