Oborevwori felicitates former SSG Ovuozourie Macaulay at 65

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, has congratulated the former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Macaulay, on the occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary.
In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the governor described Macaulay as a distinguished administrator, astute leader, and bridge-builder whose decades of service have left an enduring mark on Delta State’s political and administrative landscape.
Governor Oborevwori commended the celebrant’s exemplary contributions to governance and human development, noting that Macaulay’s public service journey spanning roles as Chief of Staff, Secretary to the State Government, Commissioner for Special Duties (Conflict Resolution), and Commissioner for Energy—reflects dedication, integrity, and a deep sense of purpose.
According to the governor, Macaulay’s detribalised outlook and ability to unite people across ethnic and political lines have earned him the respect and admiration of many Deltans.
He also lauded Macaulay’s humility, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of others.
“Today, we celebrate not just your birthday, but a life of significance and an inspiring legacy,” Oborevwori said.
The governor also prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the former SSG, wishing him good health, peace of mind, and renewed strength in his ongoing service to humanity.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta State, I wish you continued good health, sound mind, and boundless strength as you carry on with your service to humanity,” the statement added.
