MumaGee Foundation dedicates ‘youth reform 360’ project in Rivers State

In a remarkable step toward empowering young people and fostering community reform, the MumaGee Foundation for Youth Empowerment has dedicated its flagship project, “Youth Reform 360 in Rivers State,” at the Prestige Gospel Center International Ministry, Port Harcourt.

The dedication ceremony, held on Sunday, was marked by prayers, thanksgiving, and an atmosphere of celebration.

During the event, High Chief Muma Eke, popularly known as Muma Gee, formally presented the project to Pastor Miracle Mark, the General Overseer of Prestige Gospel Center International Ministry, entrusting the initiative to divine guidance and purpose.

Speaking at the ceremony, Pastor Miracle Mark, emphasised that dedicating the project to God symbolised the light of transformation and service to humanity.

Pastor Mark described the programme as a divine instrument that would reshape the destinies of young people, aligning with the biblical teachings of being the “light of the world” and the “salt of the earth.”

According to Mark, Youth Reform 360 represents hope, renewal, and the practical manifestation of faith through community service , a testament to how the church and social development can work hand in hand for societal good.

Founder of the foundation, Muma Gee, outlined the vision behind Youth Reform 360, describing it as a transformative initiative aimed at creating “a total turnaround for the next generation.”

She explained that the foundation’s mission focused on advancing the welfare and potential of the girl-child, youth, and women, particularly those affected by displacement, hardship, and at-risk circumstances.

Through advocacy, skills training, and empowerment programmes, the foundation seeks to promote peace, equality, and sustainable development.

“Our goal is to help young people create and achieve life goals that contribute to nation-building.

“We want to raise a generation that believes in purpose, productivity, and progress, ” she said.

Highlighting the scope of the initiative, Muma Gee revealed that Youth Reform 360 is projected to reach 23,000 young people every year, cutting across all 23 Local Government Areas of Rivers State.

The project operates under a five-point framework known as the “5Rs” Register, Rehabilitate, Re-orientate, Reform, and Re-integrate.

This structure ensures that vulnerable youths aged 10 to 50 are properly identified, trained, and reintegrated into society as productive citizens.

Beyond rehabilitation, the programme also targets unemployed youths and aspiring entrepreneurs by providing skills acquisition, start-up support, and business funding opportunities.

According to the foundation, the initiative aims to reduce youth involvement in crime, cultism, drug abuse, and street violence, promote a positive mindset built on purpose, patriotism, and productivity.

The foundation also aim to establish a Youth 360 Network (Y360N) and the Community of Women in Economic Development (COWEDIANS), both designed to build strong community structures and encourage gender inclusion as well as advance peacebuilding and sustainable community development across Rivers State.

The dedication of the project, coincided with the 25th anniversary of the MumaGee Foundation for Youth Empowerment, founded in the year 2000.

Over the years, the foundation had remained steadfast in its mission to nurture, reform, and empower young people across Nigeria.

As the foundation looks ahead to the official unveiling, Muma Gee expressed gratitude to God and to all partners supporting the vision.
