Mbappé clinches European Golden Boot in Stellar debut season for Real Madrid

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has been awarded the 2024–25 European Golden Boot, capping off an extraordinary debut season with the Spanish giants.
Mbappé secured the prestigious award after scoring 31 goals in 34 La Liga appearances, amassing 62 points and finishing ahead of fellow contenders Mohamed Salah and Viktor Gyökeres.
The accolade was formally presented during a ceremony at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where the French star was celebrated for his remarkable contribution to the club.
During the event, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez praised Mbappé’s performances, highlighting his 44 goals across all competitions as a milestone achievement.
Pérez noted that Mbappé’s Golden Boot is the club’s first since Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2010–11 season, underscoring the significance of the feat.
Expressing gratitude, Mbappé thanked his teammates, club staff, and fans for their support throughout the season.
“My first Ballon d’Or. An honour to win this first one and be recognized as the top scorer in Europe.
”Many thanks to all my teammates and everyone at @realmadrid for helping me every day to bring out my best version. Nothing would be possible without you by my side, ” he said.
He also acknowledged the fans’ unwavering support saying, “and finally, I want to say thanks to all the Madridistas who have given me so much love from the very beginning. See you tomorrow at the Bernabéu!! ¡HalaMadrid!”
At just 26 years old, Mbappé’s latest accolade adds to an already impressive list of achievements since joining Real Madrid, further cementing his reputation as one of the most prolific forwards in world football.
