Arsenal beat Burnley; Man Utd draw with Nottingham Forest

Arsenal strengthened their Premier League lead with a 2-0 victory over Burnley, while Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners extended their winning streak to five league games, with Viktor Gyokeres opening the scoring from a Declan Rice corner.

Rice himself doubled the lead in the 35th minute, putting Arsenal in firm control. Arsenal’s defence has been equally impressive, conceding only three league goals in 10 games.

Manchester United looked set to secure a win after Casemiro scored first-half opener at the City Ground, but Forest staged a stunning comeback with goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicolo Savona.

United salvaged a point when Amad Diallo scored in the 81st minute.

Forest remain in the relegation zone, four points behind Burnley, while Wolves dropped further after a 3-0 defeat to Fulham.

Crystal Palace won 2-0 against Brentford, and Brighton defeated Leeds 3-0, with Danny Welbeck netting his sixth league goal of the season.

The Premier League action continues with Tottenham facing Chelsea, Liverpool hosting Aston Villa, and Bournemouth traveling to Manchester City.

Arsenal lead the league by seven points.
