Air Peace expands fleet with third Embraer 190 to boost festive travel capacity

In a significant move to strengthen its operational capacity, Air Peace Limited, West and Central Africa’s largest airline, has taken delivery of its third Embraer 190 aircraft, enhancing its ability to meet the surge in travel demand during the festive season and beyond.
The Embraer 190-100 AR, registered as 5N-CFM, arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 3:13 p.m., marking another milestone in Air Peace’s ongoing fleet expansion and modernisation efforts.
Configured with 11 Business Class seats and 88 Economy Class seats, the 99-seater aircraft balances passenger comfort with operational efficiency.
The Embraer 190 AR is the third of its type to join the airline’s fleet in just five months, highlighting Air Peace’s commitment to increasing flight availability on both domestic and regional routes.
Designed for fuel efficiency, the aircraft features engines that reduce carbon emissions, reflecting the airline’s focus on environmentally responsible operations.
Inside, the cabin offers a 1-2 Business Class seating layout and a 2-2 Economy Class configuration, eliminating middle seats to provide spacious legroom, quiet travel, and in-seat power outlets for passenger convenience.
Commenting on the arrival, Air Peace Spokesperson Osifo-Whiskey Efe described the aircraft as a strategic addition.
“The Embraer 190 AR is modern, efficient, and passenger-focused, supporting our goal of seamless connectivity across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.
“Its introduction enables additional flight frequencies, improved schedule reliability, and enhanced travel options during the busy festive period,” he said.
Passengers are expected to benefit from increased seat availability, greater flexibility, and an improved travel experience, particularly amid heightened seasonal demand for family visits, business trips, and tourism.
The aircraft also enables the airline to serve both high-density and underserved routes efficiently without compromising service standards.
With its steadily growing and diversified fleet, Air Peace continues to set benchmarks in capacity expansion, fleet investment, and route development across the region.
The third Embraer 190 underscores the airline’s vision of connecting communities, promoting regional integration, and delivering quality air travel experiences across the continent.
As the holiday season approaches, Air Peace remains positioned to provide passengers with reliable, comfortable, and modern air transport, reflecting its strategic planning and dedication to service excellence.
