First Lady attends global summit on children, AI

Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, participated on Wednesday in the “Fostering the Future Together Summit” hosted by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump at the White House in Washington, DC.

The summit brought together 45 first ladies, including Brigitte Macron of France, to discuss expanding access to educational tools and safeguarding children in digital environments.

During the event, Melania Trump formally introduced an American-made humanoid system, Figure 3, marking the first presentation of such technology to international leaders in a diplomatic setting.

“The future of AI is personified, it will be formed in the shape of humans. Very soon artificial intelligence will move from our mobile phones to humanoids that deliver utility.

“This technology may reset the modern world order and rebalance power. Your children must be prepared to ascend within this framework.

”Our coalition can make this vision real by supporting concrete initiatives that equip young people with the skills they need invest, expand access, and foster new opportunity, ” she said.

Melania Trump urged participating nations to collaborate and transform the summit’s vision into actionable programs, emphasising the importance of preparing the next generation for a technology-driven future.

Officials from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, shared national strategies for integrating technology into education systems.
