Oborevwori celebrates Guwor at 47

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has sent warm birthday wishes to the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hn. Dennis Guwor, as he marks his 47th anniversary on April 1.

In a goodwill message issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, the governor joined Guwor’s family, fellow lawmakers, constituents from Warri South-West, and associates in celebrating the Speaker.

He described Guwor as a focused leader with a clear sense of purpose.

Oborevwori praised Guwor, who also serves as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, for his contributions to legislative development and his role in promoting policies that drive growth in the State.

He observed that the Speaker’s leadership has ensured stability within the House of Assembly, strengthening cooperation and mutual respect among the different arms of government.

The governor further commended the legislature under Guwor’s guidance for sustaining a smooth lawmaking process, particularly in the passage of impactful bills and resolutions targeted at improving the welfare of citizens.

According to Oborevwori, the Speaker’s commitment to people-centered governance and his ability to lead with clarity and focus have continued to reinforce democratic institutions in the state.

He also noted the alignment between the Assembly’s legislative activities and his administration’s MORE Agenda, stressing that the collaboration has accelerated development across key sectors.

“On behalf of my family, the government and the people of Delta, I heartily congratulate the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dennis Guwor, who is also the Chairman of Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, on the occasion of his 47th birth anniversary,” the governor said.

Oborevwori prayed for Guwor’s good health, longevity, and greater accomplishments in service to the state and humanity as he celebrates the milestone.
