President Bola Tinubu is set to inaugurate the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge and several major infrastructure projects during a two-day working visit to Lagos this week.
The development was disclosed by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile, via a post on X on Monday.
He called on residents to receive the President alongside Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu during the visit.
“Please join the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to welcome President Bola Tinubu to a two-day working visit to our dear state,” Akosile stated, adding that the President would commission “iconic, transformative, and legacy projects such as the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge.”

”This is a transformational and strategic project delivered by Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. It is a promise made and well delivered!”
According to information shared alongside a video post, the President’s visit is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, April 8, and conclude on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
In addition to the bridge, the President is expected to inaugurate other key facilities, including the Lagos State Geographic Information Service and the Lagos Multi-Agency Building, both located in Alausa.
Tinubu would also launch the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle, the Maracana Stadium featuring 19 mini-football pitches, and the Lagos Food Logistics Hub in Abijo.
The Tolu Schools Complex stands out as one of the flagship projects to be unveiled.
The facility comprises 36 schools spanning primary, junior, and senior secondary levels, built across 11.7 hectares, with the capacity to accommodate over 20,000 students.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, who recently inspected the project, described it as “the largest school community in Africa.
“This complex brings together 36 schools across primary, junior, and senior secondary levels, spread over 11.7 hectares.
”It is set to serve over 20,000 students and stands as the largest school community in Africa, with well-equipped classrooms, football fields, basketball courts, and other modern facilities,” the governor said.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to education, stressing that providing access to quality learning environments remains a top priority.
