Ujomor endorsed for Ndokwa/Ukwuani reps seat
As Nigeria grapples with mounting socio-economic and political challenges, calls for credible and forward-thinking leadership continue to grow stronger. In Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, the stakes are particularly high as constituents prepare for what observers describe as a defining moment ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.
The contest, many believe, goes beyond a routine political exercise. It is seen as a crucial opportunity to determine the pace and direction of development across the constituency for years to come.
Against this backdrop, the Dr. Chuks Media Team Support Group has thrown its weight behind Dr. Chuks Mavis Ujomor, endorsing him as its preferred candidate for the Green Chambers.
The group, in a statement, said its decision was reached “unanimously and unequivocally,” citing what it described as his “proven track record, unwavering integrity, and visionary leadership.”
According to the group, Dr. Ujomor has remained deeply connected to the people of Ndokwa/Ukwuani across all social strata.
“From the most successful members of our society to the most vulnerable, he remains consistently accessible, deeply compassionate, and resolutely committed to the welfare of his community,” the statement read.
They also noted that his familiarity with the region’s realities stems from lived experience.
“He understands the unique challenges of our region because he is of it, he lives among the people, supports them, and has shouldered their burdens at various levels of community leadership,” the group stated, adding that “his life and work are a testament to his dedication.”
Central to his candidacy, the group highlighted, is a development-focused blueprint aimed at transforming the constituency through targeted interventions in critical sectors.
On energy and infrastructure, Dr. Ujomor is said to be committed to addressing the long-standing “Okpai IPP step-down” issue.
His goal, according to the statement, is to secure “a stable and constant power supply to Ndokwa/Ukwuani” while ensuring the electrification of underserved communities.
In the area of security and social justice, his vision includes building “an egalitarian society where every citizen can pursue their goals without the fear of insecurity,” fostering what the group described as a safe and just environment.
The statement also underscored his plans for grassroots development. “He will champion the creation and diligent implementation of impactful projects in every village and community,” it said, emphasizing inclusivity and measurable progress.
On economic empowerment, Dr. Ujomor is expected to move beyond short-term interventions.
The group noted his intention to design “empowerment programs that create lasting prosperity,” providing opportunities capable of transforming lives.
Youth employment remains another focal point of his agenda.
The group stressed that he aims to generate “real and sustainable employment opportunities” for young people across the constituency.
Also, Dr. Ujomor is presented as a potential link between government and the people.
He is “poised to serve as a strong, effective bridge between government policies and the people,” ensuring that constituents’ voices influence decision-making processes.
While reaffirming its support, the group framed the endorsement as a broader call for purposeful leadership.
“This initiative is about more than winning an election; it is about consciously choosing a brighter future,” the statement noted.
It described Dr. Ujomor as a leader capable of “bridging the wisdom of the past with the promise of the future,” adding that he embodies “courage, wisdom, humility, and a profound commitment to service.”
In contrast to what it termed self-serving political ambitions, the group portrayed his candidacy as driven by a sense of mission.
“At a time when many seek office for personal gain, Dr. Ujomor’s selfless, people-first philosophy offers a refreshing and necessary contrast,” it said.
The statement appealed for unity among constituents, urging them to look beyond divisions and rally behind a tested leader.
“We cannot afford to gamble with our future. We cannot afford to experiment when we have a trusted, competent, and capable leader ready to deliver,” it said.
Reinforcing its message, the group called on the people of Ndokwa/Ukwuani to consolidate their support, stating that Dr. Ujomor represents “the New Face of Effective Representation.”
“The Time is Now! The Choice is Clear!” the statement said.
