JAMB releases 2026 UTME exam slips

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination notification slips.

This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by the board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin.

According to Benjamin, the examination is scheduled to commence on April 16, and candidates are required to print their slips to confirm essential details such as their examination date, venue and time.

He advised candidates to visit the board’s official portal and select the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” option to access and print their notification slips.

Benjamin urged candidates to complete the process early and take time to familiarise themselves with their assigned examination centres ahead of the test date to avoid last-minute challenges.

He explained that each candidate has been assigned a specific schedule, stressing the importance of arriving early at the examination venue to allow for proper screening and accreditation.

The spokesperson also disclosed that enhanced security measures had been put in place for the 2026 UTME to curb examination malpractice.

He warned both candidates and operators of Computer-Based Test centres to refrain from any form of misconduct, noting that strict sanctions would be imposed on offenders.
