Tinubu hails Dangote on birthday celebration

President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday greetings to Africa’s leading industrialist, Aliko Dangote, praising his contributions to Nigeria’s economic expansion and wider industrial development across the continent.

In a statement released through the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Dangote as a central figure in Africa’s industrial transformation whose investments have continued to reshape key sectors of the economy.

Tinubu highlighted Dangote’s entrepreneurial drive and innovative approach, noting that his major projects have helped position Nigeria as a leading hub for petrochemical and cement production.

He specifically referenced the operations of the Dangote Group, including the landmark Dangote Refinery and cement manufacturing facilities spread across Africa.

The President further commended the group’s role in job creation, infrastructure development, and its sustained confidence in Nigeria’s economic prospects, despite prevailing global challenges.

He also lauded Dangote’s philanthropic work through the Aliko Dangote Foundation, especially its interventions in healthcare delivery, education support, and poverty reduction programmes across vulnerable communities.

“Dangote remains a shining example of African enterprise, whose achievements continue to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs across the continent,” Tinubu said.

He wished the business mogul continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in his service to Nigeria, Africa, and humanity at large.
