Sen. Dickson has capacity to put the Ijaw nation back in the limelight – APC youth leader

An All Progression Congress (APC)  Youth Leader, Awara Confido has said that the Senators representing Bayelsa West Senatorial  district at the National Assembly, Seriake Dickson has all it takes to bring the Ijaw nation back to the timeline.
Confido made stated this after seeing the senator’s interview on Channels television last week
In his words; ‘I have observed that the former governor possesses a unique sense of vision for the Niger Delta region region.
”Having an in depth knowledge of our issues, pains and interests hence if the ijaw nation rally’s round Senator Seriake Dickson, they would be rallying round one man that has the capacity to put the Ijaw nation back in the limelight.”
He also said that the former governor has exemplified himself as a nationalist and a wholistic politician who is clearly ahead of the game.
Confido noted that the former governor is undoubtedly fitting into the role of the political ‘grand master’ of the Ijaw nation, an office the region unfortunately lacked before now stating that the earlier the region accepts this fact and begin to support and celebrate it, the better.
In his words, no other political leader in the state and the Ijaw nation has passionately advanced the Ijaw interest like Senator Dickson.
“The most intriguing aspects of it all is the fact that the man has remained politically relevant in the state after leaving office for close to five years. In addition, the strong political foundation he raised still sustains the political structure in the state even without him being actively involved.
“His political sagacity was yet demonstrated in the last governorship election where over 60,000 votes from his senatorial district alone decided the victory of his successor, Sen. Douye Diri”.
“There is hardly any known and relevant politician in Bayelsa state today that hasn’t in one way or the other benefitted from the political weight and strength of this great man save a few ungrateful and disgruntled bunch and as such with the full backing of the Ijaw nation, the Ijaw nation can boast of their own Jagaban.”
He therefore called on all well meaning Ijaw leaders to rally round the former governor for the good and development of the Ijaw nation.
