Super falcons arrive in Casablanca, eye historic 10th WAFCON Title

The Super Falcons, Nigeria’s women’s national football team, has arrived in Casablanca, Morocco, to prepare for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The team, comprising 22 players and officials, recently played a goalless draw against Portugal in a friendly match in Lisbon.
The delegation arrived in Casablanca on Wednesday night, ready to focus on the upcoming tournament.
China-based forward Folashade Ijamilusi and USA-based Asisat Oshoala have already joined the team in Casablanca.
The team showed resilience in their friendly match against Portugal, with goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defender Shukurat Oladipo, and veteran forward Francisca Ordega impressing.
The Super Falcons have consistently reached the semifinals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations since its inception in 1998.
Nigeria has won the tournament nine times and has been a dominant force in African women’s football.
